Slowly working on getting my life back in order

I have had a rough couple weeks, maybe 3 weeks. There have been a lot of changes going on at my job that have really messed with my mojo. I have barely got back into a routine.

I did exercise today. I also start swimming lessons on Monday. I am working on figuring out what I am doing and getting myself back in shape. Today I did an FTP test on the bike so I have a baseline of where I’m at now on the bike. It really kicked my butt!

Next week I’m adding in swimming. I might try and go for an easy walk/jog this weekend. I don’t have my running shoes. If there’s a pair in my daughter’s car, I might try today. I don’t have any expectations with it anyway.

I need to sign up for some kind of race to help get me focused. I also need to figure out what I’m doing over here with this blog of mine. I haven’t had time to stop by anyone else’s blog. I’ve been really drowning, but I feel like I’m close to getting back on track.

So that’s where I’m at today. Just checking in and making a note for myself.

My faith and belief system is very intertwined in service and I think that the concept of self care is sometimes twisted to mean “selfish”. They are not the same.

Complete Zwifting moron, HELP!

I bought myself a Zwift Hub for my Christmas gift. I do NOT know what I’m doing at all.
