I'm Teresa Redmond, mom to 8, blogger, RN, and experienced runner. I began writing in 2004 while co-owning the website Justmommies.com. I went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership and Management, and later added certifications as a personal trainer and nutrition coach through NASM, as well as RRCA Coach level 1 in running. I've run races covering marathons to 5Ks as well as a couple sprint triathlons. I enjoy writing on my favorite topics including plant-based diet, fermented foods, running, exercise, meditation, nutrition and mental health.

We’ve all had setbacks or fallen off the fitness wagon, well most of us I think anyway. Once I’m in a good rhythm I stay that way, but I’ve been having trouble getting into a good routine again. I decided this week I’d switch it up, get back on track with my blogging, and share my best ideas for getting back on track.

Complete Zwifting moron, HELP!

I bought myself a Zwift Hub for my Christmas gift. I do NOT know what I’m doing at all. I mean it’s true you don’t forget how to ride a bike, but the gears and all the other crap that comes with biking stress me the hell out. It’s kept me from really getting into biking. Running is easy. I am completely moronic with biking.

Weekly Rundown for February 19, 2023

I left you all last week all excited to take on the world. I went down to my basement and tried out my cheap rowing machine that I had purchased knowing that I’d be unable to run for a while. I was so surprised and happy that I could use it with my boot on and it didn’t strain my foot or ankle at all. I thought my week was going to go perfectly!
